My journey into the world of art was shaped by a life rich with experience in the military and private security sectors. After joining the Army following 9/11, I served in the infantry with multiple combat deployments, serving under Special Operations. Following my honorable discharge, I transitioned to private military contracting, providing security for government officials, military officers, and diplomats around the world. Though art has always been a part of my life, it was not until an injury ended my career that I pursued it with intention. In the Fall of 2021, I began my studies at Ringling College of Art and Design, where I am currently working towards a Bachelors of Fine Art in Illustration, set to graduate in May 2025. My work is deeply influenced by the personal experiences and diverse environments I have encountered throughout my life. The people I've met, the places I've visited, and the challenges I’ve faced have all contributed to the lens through which I create. My art bridges the gap between my past and present, capturing the essence of a world I've both fought in and observed. Through fine art, comics, and graphic novels, I aim to tell stories that resonate with a raw, unfiltered perspective. |
